In the event an Adjustment Code is no longer in use, you can inactivate the code to prevent staff members in your office from using it; there is no way to permanently delete an adjustment code.
Follow these steps to inactivate an Adjustment Code.
Select Customer Setup > Codes… > Adjustment.
Use the Search field to find the adjustment code by searching for the code name or description. Or use the Show All button to view all codes.
Select the Adjustment Code you want to make inactive.
Check the Make this code inactive checkbox.
Click Save.
Follow the steps below to reactivate an Adjustment Code.
Select Customer Setup > Codes… > Adjustment.
Place a check in the "Include inactive codes" box to include inactive adjustment codes in your search results.
Use the Search field to find the adjustment code by searching for the code name or description. Or use the Show All button to view all codes.
Select the Adjustment Code you want to reactivate.
Click OK when “This adjustment code is currently inactive.” displays.
Uncheck the Make this code inactive checkbox.
Click Save.
