A Data Copy is the process of retrieving Patient Demographics, Codes (ICD, HCPCS, CPT, and Fee Schedules), Appointments, Payers, Referring Provider Lists, and Facility data and copying the data from one customer from a CMD account to another customer from another CMD Account. Please be aware that when copying data from one customer to another within the same CollaborateMD Account, you are only permitted to request Patient data and Insurance Data.

Data copies do not include rendering/attending providers, billing providers, claims, financial data, pending information (appointments, etc.), notes (e.g., patient notes, claim notes, etc.), or patient balance. Please note that a Data Copy does not replace existing data.
A Data Copy process typically takes between 3 to 5 business days to complete after payment is received. CollaborateMD will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the data transfer within the aforementioned timeframe once payment has been made.
