In the event a Collection Agency is no longer in use, you can inactivate it to prevent staff members in your office from using it. Please note that there is no way to permanently delete a Collection Agency.
Select Customer Setup > Collections Agencies.
Use the Show All button to view all Agencies. Or use the Search field to further drill down your search.
Select the Collection Agency you want to make inactive.
Place a check in the Make this agency inactive box.
Follow the steps below to reactivate a Collection Agency. .
Select Customer Setup > Collection Agencies.
Place a check in the Include inactive collection agencies box.
Use the Show All button to view all agencies. Or use the Search field to further drill down your search.
Select the Collection Agency.
Click OK when the “This collection agency is currently inactive.” pop-up displays.
Uncheck the Make this collection agency inactive box.
