Alerts can be configured to appear in specific screens of CollaborateMD. Every alert type has the same display options (i.e., the when the alert should appear). You can add alerts to the following entities: Providers, Payers, Procedure Codes & Diagnosis Codes.
This page will describe each of the following display options.
Global: The alert will appear if the entity is used in any of the sections below.
Show Alert in Patient Section: The alert will appear if the entity is associated with the opened patient record
Show Alert in Claim Section: The alert will appear if the entity is associated with the claim currently opened.
Show Alert in Appointment Section: The alert will appear if the entity is associated with the patient you are scheduling an appointment for.
Show Alert in Payment Section: The alert will appear if the entity is associated with the payment you are currently processing.
