In the event an Inventory Code is no longer in use, you can inactivate the code to prevent staff members in your office from using it; there is no way to permanently delete an inventory code.
Follow the steps below to inactivate an Inventory Code.
Select Customer Setup > Codes... > Inventory.
Use the Search field to find the inventory code by the code name or description. Or use the Show All button to view all codes.
Select the Inventory Code you want to make inactive.
Place a check in the Make this inventory code inactive box.
Click Save.
