CollaborateMD allows you to add specific alerts to your diagnosis codes. Alerts will appear as a pop-up whenever the diagnosis code is opened in a section of CollaborateMD. Using alerts helps ensure your team is made aware of any important information associated with your diagnosis codes. For example: "Do not bill to Medicare" or "Only bill POS 21."
Select Customer Setup > Codes... > Diagnosis Codes.
Use the Search field to find the diagnosis code by the code name or description. Or use the Show All button to view all codes.
Select the Diagnosis Code.
Locate and click on the Alerts tab from the right-hand side panel.
Click Add Alert .
Write the message you would like to appear in the pop-up.
Use the Display Options box(es) to determine when you would like the alert to appear.

The Effective Date Range allows you to set how long the alert should remain active.
Click Done to add your alert.
Click Save.
Select Customer Setup > Codes... > Diagnosis Codes.
Use the Search field to find the diagnosis code by ICD code or description. Or use the Show All button to view all codes.
Select the Diagnosis Code.
Locate and click on Alerts from the right-hand side panel.
Select the Alert.
Optional: Modify the alert.
- Click Save.
Select Customer Setup > Codes... > Diagnosis Codes.
Use the Search field to find the diagnosis code by code name or description. Or use the Show All button to view all codes.
Select the Diagnosis Code.
Locate and click on Alerts from the right-hand side panel.
Click the icon next to the alert.
