Add Ambulance Info to Professional Claims

Follow the steps below to add ambulance information to a professional claim.

  1. Select Claim > Claim.

  2. Use the Search field to search for your claim. 

    Check the “Show exact matches only” box to search for exact matches or “Show unpaid claims only” to show claims that may need follow-up.

  1. Open the claim.

  2. Click the Ambulance Info tab.

  3. Add additional information as it applies to the claim. 

  4. Click Save.

Professional Claim Ambulance Info Field Descriptions

  • Ambulance claim: Use the Radio button to mark the claim as an ambulance claim.

  • Transport Reason: Use the drop-down menu to specify the reason for the ambulance.

  • Transport Miles: Used to specify how many the ambulance drove. 

  • Patient Weight: Used to specify the patient's weight at the time of transport.

  • Round Trip Reason: Used to specify the Round Trip Reason.

  • Stretcher Reason: Used to specify the Stretcher Reason.

  • Pickup Address: Used to specify where the ambulance picked up the patient.

  • Dropoff Address: Used to specify where the ambulance dropped off the patient.

  • Certification Fields: Used to specify the state of the patient. You may select up to five options.
