CollaborateMD allows you to add specific alerts to your diagnosis codes. Alerts will appear as a pop-up whenever the diagnosis code is opened in a section of CollaborateMD. Using alerts helps ensure your team is made aware of any important information associated with your diagnosis codes. For example: "Do not bill to Medicare" or "Only bill POS 21."
Select Customer Setup > Codes... > Diagnosis Codes.
Use the Search field to find the diagnosis code by the code name or description. Or use the Show All button to view all codes.
Select the Diagnosis Code.
Locate and click on the Alerts tab from the right-hand side panel.
Click the Add Alert button.
Write the message you would like to appear in the pop-up.
Use the Display Options box(es) to determine when you would like the alert to appear.
For more information on the Display Options, please visit the Alert Display Options Help Article.
