Editing a Payer after a Data Conversion

Follow the steps below to edit a Payer after a Data Conversion takes place.

  1. Select Customer Setup > Payers.

  2. Use the Show All button to view all payers. Or use the Search field to further drill down your search.

  3. Select the Payer.

  4. Click the  beside the Clearinghouse Connection field to search for an electronic payer.

  5. Enter your search criteria, then click Search.

  6. Select the Payer

    If the payer requires an agreement to be filled out you will be notified with the following message:

    "This payer requires an agreement to be filled out and approved before you can submit claims electronically. Please either use the PayerAgreements section or go to https://connectcenter.changehealthcare.com and fill out the payer agreement for this payer. Note: You can ignore this message if you have already been approved or submitted the agreement."

    Click I Understand

  7. Optional: Modify the payer. 

  8. Click Save
