In the event a Referring Provider is no longer in use, you can inactivate the referring provider to prevent staff members in your office from using it; there is no way to permanently delete a referring provider.
Select Customer Setup > Referring Providers.
Use the Show All button to view all referring providers. Or use the Search field to further drill down your search.
Select the Referring Provider you want to make inactive.
Place a check in the Make this referrer inactive box.
Click Save.
Follow the steps below to reactivate a Referring Provider.
Select Customer Setup > Referring Providers.
Place a check in the Include inactive referring providers box.
Use the Show All button to view all referring providers. Or use the Search field to further drill down your search.
Select the Referring Provider to reactivate.
Click OK when “This referring provider is currently inactive.” displays.
Uncheck the Make this referrer inactive box.
Click Save.
