Apply a Debit Adjustment to a Procedure Transaction

You can apply a Debit Adjustment to a specific procedure transaction within the manage account screen. Debit adjustments could be used to add a late fee or a no-show fee to a procedure transaction. Debit codes should be used to add non claim related charges to a procedure. 

  1. Select Patient > Manage Account.

  2. Use the Search field to search through your patients or insured.

    Place a check in the “Include inactive patients” box to include inactive patients in your search results.

  3. Select the Patient.

  4. Under Transaction Listing locate the DOS the procedure is under and click the expand arrow.

  5. Select the Procedure Code.

  6. Click the Apply Debit Adjustment button.

    1. Click the  icon to select the debit code.

    2. Enter the Debit Amount.

    3. Enter the Debit Date.

    4. Click Done

  7. Click Save.
