Diagnosis Codes

Diagnosis codes, also known as ICD-CM codes, are 3-7 character alphanumeric codes used within the healthcare industry to identify specific medical diagnoses of patients receiving treatment. These codes correspond with the code list published by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) branch of the U.S Department of Health and Human Services.

CollaborateMD includes the CMS database of standard codes which is updated every year. However, you can add/edit your own diagnosis codes.
