Create a task from a message

When you want to create a task based on the contents of a message, you don't have to re-enter all the information. The contents of the message are linked to the task. Just like for any task, you can set a due date, add a reminder, or assign the task to someone else. 

  1. Select Home > Messages.

  2. There are two ways to create a task for a message.

    1. Check the box next to the message and click the Create Task button.

    2. Open the message and click the Create Task button.

  3. The Task Title will auto populate with the Subject of the Message.

  4. Add a Description

  5. Make any changes to the Due Date, Status, Priority, Links or Assignee.

  6. Click Save.
