Edit Provider Mode

Who can use this feature?

Auth Reps and Admins with the Account Setup permission.

Follow the steps below to change the provider mode.

  1. Select Customer Setup > Providers.

  2. Use the Show All button to view all providers. Or use the Search field to further drill down your search.

  3. Select the Provider.

  4. Use the drop-down menu to change the Professional Mode and/or the Institutional Mode by referencing the Mode Descriptions:

    1. Test: Claims will be sent to the Clearinghouse for testing purposes only.

    2.  Hold: Claims under this provider will not leave the system.

    3.  Production Mode: Claims will be sent to the Clearinghouse electronically then forwarded to the payer.

      Important: If required Agreements have not been completed or authorized by your payers, moving into Production (PROD) mode can incur additional fees by dropping your claims to paper.

  5. Click Save.
