Update Statement Address

Within the Statement Tracker screen, you can see the mailing status of your statements. You will see if the statement was mailed correctly, emailed/texted, if it was forwarded to a different address, or to a corrected address. In order to help you work less, you are able to update patients' addresses based on where the claim was sent to from this screen.

  1. Select Patient > Statement Tracker.

  2. Enter your Search Criteria or Load a Search Filter.

  3. Identify the records that require action.

    1. The  icon means the paper statement was delivered with no issues.

    2. The  Icon means the electronic statement was emailed with no issues.

    3. The  Icon means the electronic statement was sent via text (SMS) with no issues.

    4. The  icon means the statement was forwarded to a different address.

    5. The  icon means the statement was delivered to a corrected address.

    6. The  icon means the statement was not delivered due to an invalid address.

    7. The  icon means the address was fixed.

      Records with the  ,  or  icons require you to take action with the address.

  4. Click the link in the Status column for Corrected or Forwarded records to open the Update Address window.

    1. The Update All Matching Addresses button will update all addresses associated with the patient. This includes the Insured, Patient, and Other Insured. 

    2. The Update Mail to Address button will only update the address based on the patient's Mail Statement to option. 

  5. Click the link in the Status column for Error records to open the Address Error window.

    1. The Mark as Fixed button will mark the statement as fixed.

    2. The Open Patient button will open the selected patient's record within the patient screen.

    3. The Create Task button creates a user task associated with this patient.

  6. You can update multiple records at once by checking the box for the desired records.

    1. Click the Mark As Fixed button to mark the statements as fixed. 

    2. Click the Update Addresses button to either:

      1. The Update All Matching Addresses button will update all addresses associated with the patient. This includes the Insured, Patient, and Other Insured. 

      2. The Update Mail to Address button will only update the address based on the patient's Mail Statement to option.

  7. Click Close to exit.
