Procedure Code Notes

Add a Procedure Code Note

Notes can be used to include any special information regarding procedure codes and can be viewed by all users that have permission to view this screen. Using the notes feature can help your team stay organized and up to date on changes and updates regarding any procedure codes.

  1. Select Customer Setup > Codes... > Procedure Codes.
  2. Use the Search field to find the procedure code by the CPT/HCPCS code or description. Or use the Show All button to view all codes.

  3. Select the Procedure Code.

  4. Locate and click on the Notes tab from the right-hand side panel.

  5. Type your notes.

  6. Click Save.


Find or edit a Procedure Code Note

Follow the steps below to find or edit any existing note(s) associated to a procedure code. 

  1. Select Customer Setup > Codes... > Procedure Codes.
  2. Use the Search field to find the procedure code by the CPT/HCPCS code or description. Or use the Show All button to view all codes.

  3. Select the Procedure Code.

  4. Locate and click on the Notes tab from the right-hand side panel.

  5. Optional: Modify your note.

  6. Click Save.


Remove a Procedure Code Note

Follow the steps below to remove notes from a Procedure Code.  

  1. Select Customer Setup > Codes... > Procedure Codes.

  2. Use the Search field to find the procedure code by the CPT/HCPCS code or description. Or use the Show All button to view all codes.

  3. Select the Procedure Code.

  4. Locate and click on the Notes tab from the right-hand side panel. 

  5. Highlight your notes and click the Delete or Backspace button on your keyboard.

  6. Click Save.
