Use Messages to send secure correspondence to users under your CollaborateMD Account. While you possibly already communicate electronically via email, often times this method of communication is not encrypted and thus not secure enough to discuss patient treatment, insurance claims, PHI, etc.
Discussing confidential medical information via e-mail may be a violation of HIPAA requirements.
With Messages, you can view, create and manage your messages allowing all communications to be stored on our server, where they are secured by 128-bit SSL encryption. Please note that Messages is not designed to replace your current email system, as you can only use it to send messages to other CollaborateMD users associated with your customer(s).
You can also use this feature to send messages to CollaborateMD Accounting, Support, and Sales Representatives.
Who can use this feature?
Any user with the Messaging permission.
