Find & Organize Messages

Find a Message

  1. Select Home > Messages.

  2. Click the Search button. 

  3. Refine the results by entering your search criteria (e.g., From, To, Subject, Date, etc.).

  4. Click Search

  5. Select the message from the list to open.

    Use the Clear Filter button to return to the default inbox view.

Delete a Message

You can delete messages that you don't need anymore to help keep your inbox manageable. 

  1. Select Home > Messages.

  2. There are two ways to delete messages:

    1. Check the box(es) to the left side of the message(s) to be deleted, or

    2. Open the message and click

  3. Click OK when the "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this message?" 

  4. Click Delete again. 

Un-Delete a Message

Accidentally deleted or need to restore previously deleted messages? Not a problem, you can easily restore deleted messages within CollaborateMD. 

  1. Select HomeMessages.

  2. Click Search

  3. Refine the results by entering your search criteria. (e.g., from, to, subject, date, etc.)

  4. Check the “Show deleted” box and click Search

  5. Select the message from the returned list to open. 

  6. Open the message, and select .

  7. Select Un-Delete, when the "Are you sure you want to un-delete this message?” pop-up displays.

Print a Message

Follow the steps below to Print a message.

  1. Select Home > Messages.

  2. Locate the message.

  3. Click the  button.

  4. Select your printer and click Print.

Mark Message as Read or Unread

  1. Select Home > Messages.

  2. Locate the message(s).

  3. There are two ways to mark messages as read or unread

    1. Check the box for the messages you would like to mark, and select the Mark As … button. 

    2. Open the individual message, and select the Mark As Unread button.

File Message to a Folder

  1. Select Home > Messages.

  2. Locate the message(s).

  3. There are two ways to move messages to a folder.

    1. Check the box for the message(s) you would like to move, and click the Move To … button.

    2. Open the message and click the Move To … button.

      The Move To... button is only available if you've created a folder to move the message to. 

  4. Select the Folder from the drop-down list.

Copy Message Content

  1. Select Home > Messages.

  2. Locate the message.

  3. Click the  button.

  4. The message will be copied to your clipboard and available to paste.
